Senior Business Analyst

At Sourceful ICT we are looking fora Senior Business Analyst, who will play a key role in translating the needs of the Procurement Negotiation Excellence function into clear business, data, process, and technology requirements. The role will work at the intersection of Procurement, Negotiation Excellence, Data & Analytics, Digital Technology, and external solution providers, helping design and deliver capabilities that strengthen negotiation preparation, should-cost modelling, supplier insights, and data-driven decision making.

The Senior Business Analyst will ensure that business problems are clearly understood before solutions are designed, creating a common language between business stakeholders and technology teams and helping move initiatives from concept through design, delivery, validation, and adoption.

What you will do:

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, prioritization, and documentation across business and technology initiatives.

• Translate business needs into clear functional, non-functional, data, reporting, integration, and user experience requirements.

• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, technical teams, and external vendors.

• Produce and maintain business requirements, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and other project documentation.

• Ensure traceability of requirements from business objectives through solution design, delivery, testing, and implementation.

• Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

• Partner with business and data stakeholders to define data requirements, validate source systems, and resolve data quality issues.

• Work closely with architects, developers, and data teams to ensure solutions align with business needs, enterprise standards, and target architectures.

• Evaluate solution options, assess business impact, identify gaps, and recommend the most effective approach.

• Support product backlog management, prioritization, and the translation of requirements into epics, features, and user stories.

• Coordinate and support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business objectives and quality standards.

• Monitor requirement changes, dependencies, risks, and impacts on scope, timelines, and delivery outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business performance and user productivity.

• Drive stakeholder engagement, change adoption, and continuous feedback to maximize solution value and business outcomes.

What you will bring:

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably within a large multinational or complex enterprise environment.

• Strong experience translating business problems into structured requirements for digital, data, analytics, or enterprise technology solutions.

• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and working with senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Strong requirements-management skills across functional, non-functional, process, and data requirements.

• Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or product-oriented delivery environments.

• Experience working with Product Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Data Engineers, Developers, and external vendors.

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to operate effectively where requirements, data availability, and solution options are initially ambiguous
